Summer Bishil, an American actress, is best known for her role as Margo Hanson in the Syfy the fantasy show The Magicians. Prior to that, she was acknowledged in the role of an 13-year old Lebanese American girl Jasira Maroun. She is subject to turbulent personal struggles against the context of the U.S. military invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. Following that, she was named one of the Ten actors in Variety's list of to Be Watching. In 2009, she played the imposing Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead in the film.
